HTS is expanding its freelance roster for the 2026 summer festival season. We’re looking for skilled, motivated, and reliable crew across all technical departments to help deliver high‑impact events across the UK. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments and love live production, this is your moment.
We’re recruiting across all areas of live event production:
Lighting technicians — rigging, focusing, programming, operation
Sound engineers & technicians — FOH, monitors, system techs, patching
Staging crew — platforms, truss, structures, build & de‑rig
Power & distribution — cabling, site power, distro support
Warehouse & prep crew — equipment prep, testing, loading
General event technicians — multi‑discipline support across sites
All experience levels are welcome — from seasoned festival pros to new technicians building their portfolio.
What you’ll be doing
What you’ll be doing
Building and striking stages, truss, and structures
Installing and operating lighting, sound, and AV systems
Running cables, power distribution, and site infrastructure
Supporting artists, stage managers, and production teams
Preparing and maintaining equipment in our warehouse
Working as part of a tight, professional crew

Technical experience (or willingness to learn)
Availability across weekends and peak summer dates
PPE and basic tools preferred
